HEMISFAIR VIEW. The theme of HemisFair'68 is - "The Confluence of Civilizations in the Americas" - a flowing together of the combined civilization of six continents. This is an over-all view of the Fair in downtown San Antonio.

One of the most diverting and beguiling areas of HemisFair is the Fiesta Gardens - a complex of exotic rides, amusements, food kiosks, shops, a three-acre lake and waterway, elevated walks, and grassy, tree-shaded hideaways. The sector surrounds the base of the Tower of the Americas.
